The Mission of the Union-Towns Home Builders Association:

The building of a home is, in most people's lives, their single largest financial investment.  It is the responsibility of the building community and each individual builder in the industry to protect the clients' interests.

The Union-Towns Home Builders Association is determined, not only to protect these interests, but to provide credibility to our profession on a local basis.

We are committed also to providing the tools of knowledge regarding the building industry and to promoting the safeguards necessary to continue in a small business environment.

So plan on visiting our Mountain Living Showcase 2008,  to see what we have to offer, not only to our customers, but to our community and our profession.

Vendor Exhibit Information

Important Notice to 2008 Exhibitors:

Setup Times:  Friday, August 22, 2008---- 7:00 am to 1:30pm

--- All booths need to be setup by 1:30pm

Show Times:  Friday, Aug 22:  2pm to 8pm

                         Saturday, Aug 23:  10am to 6pm

-- There will be an off-duty Towns County Sheriff Deputy

guarding show areas overnight on Friday night only.

Tear Down Times:  Sat, Aug 23: after 6pm when show is closed.

We recommend all Tent booths be removed  Sat. evening.

Any time on Sunday, Aug 24:  You may need to contact a Ridges

employee to gain access to the Red Banks Room.

Tent booths will have side panels that can be closed in case of

rain or other inclement weather  (Fay, Fay stay away!!)

UTHBA Code of Ethics:

 
The Union-Towns Home Builders Association has professed to be a professional organization and, in joining, all members shall pledge themselves, their company and all members thereof, including their subcontractors, to the highest standards adopted or elected by the Ethics Committee of the Association.  All members pledge the following:

A.   Business shall be done in a legal, good, and generally-accepted businesslike manner.

B.  Advertisements shall be truthful and factual, not misleading.

C.  Deposits or earnest monies shall be protected for consumer or purchaser.

D.  Warranties, if any, shall be clear and maintained to the best ability of giver.

E.  All codes and inspections shall be complied with to the best of one's ability.

F.  Complaints shall be examined and corrected or rejected promptly.

G. Care shall be given to public relations in the highest degree.

H. Cooperation with consumer shall be a maximum.

 I.  Cooperation with the Union-Towns Home Builders Association and Ethics Committee shall be mandatory.
